Remembering Martyr JWO AK Singh, VSM

 Dedicated to my beloved friend Late JWO Akhilesh Kumar Singh, VM on   his death Anniversary (25 Jun). Training centre is a strange place!  It,s whole new world for a school/college going Student !! Training Centres have got their own tradtion, culture, dress code, language and routine. Here takes the full transformation of a guy from teenager to a trained soldier and skilled technician.. Well kept,  hippie style hairs are  trimmed to zero cut, in place of colourful civil dresse, only blue and white color shirt and white, black color half pant is allowed. One can not count stars till late night remembering his girlfriend. He has to sleep by 10 PM . We UPians are habitual of eating Rotis in our meal but there you have to fill your stomach with rice as Rotis generally are hard to digest specially in dinner. Silver Jubilee of SKAT

 The Silver Jubilee  celebration of The Surya Kiran Aerobic Team!!๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ The Surya kiran Aerobic team also known as SKAT (formerly Formation Aerobatic Team or FAT) which beleives in - "Excite the ordinary, impress the knowledgeable and frighten no one" celebrates it silver jubilee .  The team was formed on  27 May 1996 at Air Force Station Bidar  as part of 52 Sqn . It flew it's first formation on 15 Sep 1996 with 06 Kiran MK-2 Aircraft at Air Force Administrative College, Coimbatore.   The Surya kiran Aerobic team is the only 09 Aircraft formation team in Asia and among few in the world.  It has performed almost 600 dare devil shows  in and outside India. It was disbanded in the year 2011 because of shortage of Trainee Aircraft. But again resurrected in the year  2015  with Advance Jet Trainer Hawk Aircraft. You go there, help yourself in picking the items displayed on various counters , put them in a trolley or basket, get them billed and move out. In near future , CSD is all set to be more modern and user friendly by  providing  online shopping facility and home delivery like Amazons and Flipkarts.  But CSDs were not so user friendly 25-30 teras back. Then, available items were displayed inside a closed transparent  glass counter with csd price and item code written on it. You have to note down the item code  of a particular item , you wish to purchase with quantity  in a sheet of  paper and hand it over to billing clerk . He/She will make the bill and some other staff of CSD will collect the items in a basket and hand it over to you.This was the procedure followed.  In 1996, We were under going training at MTI, Tambaram. Welfare of Ex servicemen in UP

Uttar Pradesh is really "Ulta Pradesh" in many ways!!! Let me prove it by facts. All the states of the country including Central Government consider any serving soldier an  "ex serviceman"  from the date of issue of NOC (One year prior to his actual discharge from service) but "Ulta Pradesh" counts him "Ex Serviceman" from date of  his  actual release from the service. " Ex servicemen" quota is given to serving soldiers one year prior to their release from service so that they can apply for civil posts and take the exams for their resettlement but UP Government thinks otherwise. First of   all vacancy for any post is not advertised  every year and in a state like  UP where any vacancy is filled generally  in  five steps i.e.  1. Pre  2. Bloody Bolywood

 Although, I have served in Indian Air Force for 20 years but never seen :- 1. Rank on shoulders in full sleeve uniform. 2. Rolling of sleeves while wearing full sleeve uniform. 3. Any serving Air warrior daring to have this type of  fancy haircut  4. Any medically fit Air Warrior wearing uniform without shaving .  And  most importantly  5. Using such type of unparliamentary language at public place. But when "เคญांเคก of Bollywood" and people like  Leftist Anurag Kashyap are hand in glove, only  a Bakvas film can be expected.

Reservation for Ex Servicemen in Group B posts

 A welcome step by Yogi Aaditya Nath Government!!!  A long pending demand of retired soldiers have been fulfilled. Now the Ex Servicemen of Uttar Pradesh will get five percent reservation (horizontal) in "Group B" post also. For this purpose, necessary amendment has been made in Uttar Pradesh Lok Seva Adhiniyam-1993. Thanks UP Government
